What is SkinPen?

Who is a good candidate for SkinPen?

Most people are candidates for SkinPen. What is recovery like?

The total healing time depends on each individual. Most patients have some slight swelling and redness/pinkness (like a mild to moderate sunburn) for two to four days following the micro-needling procedure. Some people may heal completely in 24 hours.

RESCUE was formulated by Bellus Medical as part of the Skinfuse post-procedure protocol specifically to calm the skin following the SkinPen micro-needling procedure. Most people can return to their normal activities and conceal any side effects with makeup just one day after their SkinPen procedure.

How long will results last?

The effects of a micro needling pen are not permanent, so clinicians recommend a maintenance program which could include quarterly procedures to keep skin looking it’s best. Each patient is unique, in terms of age, skin type, and the type and location of the skin condition to be treated.
