You'll be under general anesthesia. Dr. Jones removes excess tissue, places sutures to support the underlying tissue, and smooths the thighs for a tighter, natural look.
There are three approaches: a lateral thigh lift that extends the tummy tuck incision, a groin-fold inner thigh lift, and an inseam thighplasty from groin to knee for more dramatic results. Dr. Jones will recommend the right one for you.

A lateral lift extends around the side to lift the outer thigh and buttock. A groin-fold lift uses a concealed incision for the inner thigh. An inseam thighplasty tightens the whole inner thigh with an incision from groin to knee.
Is liposuction a better option for me?
If you mainly have excess fat rather than loose skin, liposuction may be a better fit. Dr. Jones will recommend the best approach.
Is it painful?
