What happens during the procedure?
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. An incision is made along the inner arm from the armpit to the elbow. Skin and fat in the armpit and chest can also be addressed. Tissue layers are tightened and closed with dissolvable sutures.
Your arms will be wrapped to reduce swelling, and you won't have drains. You can shower the next day, and Dr. Jones's team will teach you how to massage your scars at your first post-op visit.
